Receptionist: Kearney Columbia-Bowell Funeral Chapel
We are looking for compassionate, and caring individuals, who enjoy helping others.
We are an independent firm serving the greater Vancouver area since 1908 and are looking for a receptionist to add to our growing team. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, who enjoy working with and helping people. The ideal candidate will be very organized, have a high sense of urgency, the ability to multitask and a pleasant demeanor. Must be proficient in English both spoken and verbal (other languages an asset) and be able to perform physical requirements of the job. Other tasks would entail:
- File management
- Assisting Directors with clerical duties
- Registering deaths with Vital Statistics
- Preparing permits, clergy records and death certificates
- Answering phones and emails
- Other administrative tasks as required
Compensation including bonuses and benefits is competitive and will be tailored to match the qualification, skill, and experience of the individual applicant.
