Interested in a career as a funeral professional or do you require further education to grow in the profession? The BC Funeral Association provides foundational education and professional development in a variety of subjects. Working with Consumer Protection BC, we also develop relevant courses that provide licensed funeral directors and embalmers the opportunity to accumulate continuing education credits.
Public Awareness & Advocacy
We are committed to increasing public awareness and representation of the funeral services profession and businesses. Our board welcomes regular communication from our valued members and continues to be the voice of the association, supporting, advocating, and engaging the government and regulatory authorities on key issues impacting our profession.
Through our annual conference, we promote connection and sharing of knowledge by providing an opportunity to develop beneficial professional relationships throughout the province. The BC Funeral Association is dedicated to supporting our valued members and promoting a high standard for funeral professionals and related businesses throughout the province. We aim to achieve this by providing professional educational programs, relevant news updates, and networking opportunities, and by engaging in advocacy efforts on behalf of all funeral and bereavement service providers.
