Our members include independent funeral directors as well as representatives from funeral homes, cemeteries, and crematoriums throughout BC.

Our organization is committed to representing the interests of funeral and bereavement professionals and associated businesses throughout BC. We engage in initiatives to increase public awareness regarding bereavement processes and resources by providing public access to information, such as preplanning and grief support. Our board continues to advocate for all our association members, communicating our collective thoughts on key issues impacting our profession to government and regulatory authorities.

The BC Funeral Association is the only recognized provider of Funeral Service Apprenticeship Training for British Columbia, offering funeral director training, funeral courses, and funeral director continuing education.
