Brigitte MacNamara

Brigitte MacNamara started her career in funeral service in preneed sales in 2013, followed by a role in managing, recruiting and training of sales professionals.

In 2019, Brigitte obtained her Funeral Director’s and Embalming License after completing the Apprenticeship Program.

Brigitte joined the BC Funeral Association leadership team in 2022 as a board member and is currently sitting on the Education Committee.

As the Assistant Branch Manager at Valley View Funeral Home with Arbor Memorial Inc., Brigitte oversees day to day operations with a large and dedicated team of professionals.

She enjoys spending her free time in the great outdoors camping, backpacking, fishing and kayaking. Brigitte has spent years playing a variety of sports, weight training and coaching, which ultimately lead her to obtain her Personal Training Certification and Nutrition Certification in 2009, in addition to entering the Provincial Fitness Competitions.

The values that mean the most to Brigitte are authenticity and integrity in both professional and personal situations. Her desire is to continue a long and fulfilling career as a funeral service professional where she can give back to her community in their time of need.
