The BC Funeral Association is a community of highly acclaimed funeral professionals with a passion for supporting our diverse and dedicated membership. Our members come from all aspects of the funeral and bereavement service profession and related businesses. We are the foremost experts on funeral and bereavement services within BC and in collaboration with our insightful members, advocate on behalf of all funeral professionals and businesses on important matters impacting our profession.

Our History

The British Columbia Funeral Association (BCFA) was founded in 1917 as the British Columbia Funeral Directors’ Association. It was formed to represent the interests of funeral directors in the province and to promote high standards of professionalism within the industry.
