At the BCFA, our mission is to promote ethical and professional standards in the funeral industry in British Columbia. Membership Page

When designing our new website, we recognized a need to highlight specific business needs and interests, tailoring content to suit each of our member’s needs. With that as our motivation, we created specific sub-pages to cater to Funeral Homes & Crematoriums, Cemeteries, Suppliers & Affiliates.

Careers & Employment Resources

We also recognize that one of the biggest challenges we face in this business is attracting and qualifying suitable employees. Our new Careers & Employment Resources as well as our Student Resources page aim to fill a gap in the service and make it easier for funeral businesses to connect with exceptional employees, ensuring they have all the training and qualifications they need.

Grief and Guidance

Our new Grief and Guidance page is part of the BC Funeral Association’s ongoing commitment to increasing public awareness of issues pertaining to bereavement, grief, and funeral services. With resources for the public around grief and practical information to help with advanced planning of funeral arrangements, this page can help start those all-important conversations.
